Major Blog Updates

As you may have noticed, my blog has been through a sort of refresh to keep it up with the 21st century. I tried to update it both visually and with more up to date contact info, as well as adding some new features.

What's New:

Refreshed blog theme:
- Kept the purple theme from the "End of the Line" Silvia, but slight color tweaks
- New font - Helvetica
- New Favicon
- Updated the "Surge" pattern background
- New header and slideshow - will be expanded for greater rotation and variety. You can click on the car slides to to view the post about each car.

Added Tag Cloud
- I have begun to add labels (tags) to older posts, which are visible at the bottom of each post. You can click on them to view more posts of similar categories, or click on the Tag Cloud on the Right Sidebar

Added Jump Breaks
- Now the whole post does not load
- Displays more posts per page
- Loads faster

Mugen M7 Road Wheel

NSX spec Mugen M7 Road Wheels

Original Mugen Ad
Mugen's M7 "Road Wheels" have remained a favorite of mine for a long time, due to their simplicity and elegance. In my recent efforts to redo some portions of my Mugen NSX, I decided to redo the M7's because my first attempt was one the first wheels I did entirely from scratch. It had normals errors, and the shape was off because I didn't use a good reference image. This time around, I modeled everything in 3D, including the logo, and I even recreated the special bolts used to hold the rim face to the lip and barrel. I also modeled the backside of the rim, which was a first for me. Total poly count for the rim face is about 7.7K tris, and with the lip, bolts, and a tire the total will be just shy of 30K tris.

Surge's GTA SA Photo Album, Volume I

Recently, I decided to consolidate all of my modding works to one single drive. Over the years, all of my files ended up on discs, flash drives, and external hdds from drive failures, switching hard drives etc. I consolidated all of my screenshots from GTA and I thought I would share some.
